About Us

CRISTINA REAL was born from the gathering between the cosmopolitan elegance of Paris and the vibrant soul of Lisbon. Inspired by art, design, architecture, nature, travels and by the people who shape their creative universe. The brand is made for the contemporary woman, designed for her daily life.

Each piece reflects a timeless minimalism — simplicity, functionality and versatility — created to accompaine with elegance and authenticity.

With a close look at details and a commitment to accuracy, the creations sustain a discreet style, made to last and to express true personality, rooted in classic design, blending effortless style with subtle sport-inspired elements.

Our Journey

In 2013, Cristina Real began her professional journey by doing an internship with the Portuguese designer Alexandra Moura, where she later on worked as an assistant.

"It was a rewarding experience that gave me more than knowledge in Fashion Design — it also taught me essential values."

Founded in 2014, the Cristina Real brand made its debut at the Young Designers contest at ModaLisboa, where it participated between 2014 and 2016. At the same year, it won the 2nd place at the International Design Awards (IDA) in the United States.

"I designed my first collection in Paris, presented at ModaLisboa — the starting point of a journey for which I remain deeply grateful."

In 2015, she represented Portugal at the European Young Designers contest, held at Alfândega in Oporto. In 2019, she presented her collection as part of the United Fashion European project in Skopje, North Macedonia. Between 2018 and 2019, she presented several installations at ModaLisboa.

Since 2021, the brand has been following a more autonomous and independent path, exploring and experiencing its essence. In 2025, it launched its online store — a step aligned with the philosophy of a small-scale production and a commitment to a sustainable growth.

Sustainability and Ethics

All pieces are produced in Portugal, mainly in small business companies and/or with independent seamstresses from the North and Central regions — known for their artisanal expertise and good practices in the textile industry.

We value transparency and a direct contact with our partners, which allows us to keep up with every stage of production and to ensure that working and environment conditions are respected.

Sustainability is a principle that guides our work. As we produce in small quantities, the access to certified fabrics is sometimes limited due to the quantity that is demanded. Nevertheless, we always seek to choose eco-friendly materials whenever is possible.

This is our promise: whenever there is the possibility to choose a more sustainable option, that will be our priority.
